Solaris UNIX

The UNIX Operating System (O/S) is the backbone of Virtual Private Server technology. Solaris UNIX has a proven track record of maximum performance, reliability, and scalability. Solaris represents the UNIX flavor with the most extensive enterprise application support.

In addition to Solaris, we also use FreeBSD UNIX for some of our Virtual Private Servers. If you don't know which version of UNIX your Virtual Private Server uses, use the uname command to find out.
